Welcome to the world sweet baby boy. You are loved and were long anticipated.

It’s an astounding privilege to be the one who gets to give Lucas his very first professional portrait session (hopefully the first of many!), and even better, having his mama be one of my very best friends. Lisa my dear, lovely, sweet friend, waited so long for the chance to be a mama and it wasn’t without struggle that she and her hubby Len were able to finally bring this new soul into this world. So when she told me she was pregnant, and I saw that glow, and when we chatted about midwives and birth as she prepared for motherhood, I grew more and more excited for her!

We did a special private maternity session, but these images below that I can share, I couldn’t be more excited and pleased with how they turned out.

To book a newborn session, we recommend holding your spot no less than 1 month before your session. Contact us to book your session, and to get into the calendar before it’s too late! Optimal photo session time is within the first two weeks of birth, ideally the first week.

If you are interested in having your birth photographed, Tracie used to be a midwifery student and worked as a birth doula, so she has lots of experience around birth, and would be honoured to document this occasion for you, to whatever level you are comfortable with. Any family who books us for their birth, receives a complimentary newborn session.
